Forging Casting

■ Company History
Copper Alloys Ltd excels at precisely controlling processes to manage risk effectively out of the equation, benefiting customers who require complex turnkey built-to-print components to be delivered right and on-time Working to enhance multiple, often opposing, mechanical and physical properties, Copper Alloys Ltd aims to develop new material technology to give engineers more options when selecting materials, reducing the need for compromise.
Copper Alloys Ltd is unique in the industry for being able to control risk to unprecedented levels in the manufacturing process of complex machined forgings. Copper Alloys Ltd is a highly technical manufacturer that has built its capability around the demanding requirements of Class 1 equipment for nuclear submarines.
The more complex the components, the more difficult the metal and the more arduous the quality requirements, the better. Our niche is in being able to be the most reliable supplier for critical components made from advanced materials. There are three main areas that this specialist capability excels at:

1. Design support - helping engineers optimise their material selection and the manufacturability of the components they design, with the aim of minimising excess cost and maximising through-life performance.

2. Material development – Copper Alloys Ltd are experts in developing new material technology that outperforms anything else. These alloys are being used in advanced applications worldwide, and have delivered benefits in terms of enhanced lifetime of equipment (making things last longer) and enhancing performance to enable our customer’s product to out perform the competition.

3. Production of machined forgings in non-standard metals – the standard offering at Copper Alloys Ltd would have most other organisations running for cover. Copper Alloys Ltd are currently producing the most complex and advanced mechanical componentry for critical engineering applications around the world.
